The Grand Tasting Hall is the main event at this year's festival. In the first year of the festival, 2009, 2800+ people attended while in 2010, 3200+ people came through the doors. In this, the 3rd year of the festival, even more than that will be coming to enjoy the many different products being sampled. Local jazz musicians will be on hand to play throughout the night and knowledgeable brand representatives will be on hand to answer your questions. Go booth to booth and sample your way around the world!

Hopscotch’s Annual Grand Tasting Hall is awesome in every sense of the word. One can not imagine the experience of the Grand Tasting until they do just that, experience it. In 2010 there was more 200 products and in 2011 we plan on bringing even more.

Enjoy the 3rd year of the premium spirits section that includes premium Vodkas, Rums, Tequilas, Gins, etc...

The Tasting Hall will include (but is not limited to):

Canadian and Internationally Produced Beer
Coolers, Vodka, Tequila, Gin, Rum, Liqueur
Canadian Produced Whisky
Internationally Produced Whisky (including Scotch)
Food

Tasting Tokens:

Tasting tokens are the only form of currency in the Tasting Hall market. The first five tokens for your Grand Tasting Experience are included with your ticket (if it was purchased). Within steps of you walking inside, you will be given your free pouch of tokens. Additional tokens can be purchased for $1.00 at the Tasting Token booths. The price of each sample in the Tasting Hall is based on the retail value of the bottle being poured.
