Speyside, an area in the Scottish Highlands centered around the River Spey. Wild and remote, the Glenlivet valley lies approximately 900 feet above sea level and sits in the shadow of The Cairngorm Mountain Region. It’s a perfect location, with its temperate climate and pristine water sources, for producing and maturing whisky. Since before distillation in the Highlands was even legal George Smith was producing his signature malt.
This year Brand Ambassador Keith Trusler will be bringing The Glenlivet Pairing Dinner home to the renowned Bluewater Cafe in the heart of Yaletown, the restaurant at which he tended bar for many years. Chef Frank Pabst and Keith Trusler have created and elegant and bold seafood menu to pair beautifully with The Glenlivet classic range as well as some new expressions from this iconic Speyside distillery. The evening is sure to delight the senses and challenge the conventions of whisky and food pairing in the beautiful private dining area of one of Vancouver’s most beloved restaurants.
